På tisdag joinar vi Cyklopens Öppna Ateljé för zineverkstad! Det blir skapande, workshop och diskussioner om Queera Uttryck, som är tema för vår zine-antologi. Träffen är ej queer-separatistisk, men eftersom vi håller till på Cyklopen passar det med våra värderingar ändå!
Inga förkunskaper krävs ÖHT! Varken vika, rita, skriva eller strap. Material som behövs finns på plats!
Nå, vad är då ett zine? Kort: det är en tidning eller du gör själv med det du har tillhands. Längre: Zines (eller fanzine) har en historisk betydelse och startade som vi känner till det idag inom punken. Zines är vanliga att trycka upp ett fåtal av (nuförtin, på bibliotekets kopiator, eller typ skolan) och ge bort eller sälja för en symbolisk summa. I Stockholm finns Sthlm Zine Fest, Internationella Seriefestivalen, Lava och Reclaim Pride där mycket zines säljs och delas (självklart i fler kretsar och platser).
Till Cyklopen är det en tio minuters promenad från Högdalen, längs tunnelbanespåret, förbi skateparken. Hör av dig om du vill ha sällskap eller bli uppmött. 🕺
BLI MED I VÅRT FÖRSTA COMMUNITY ZINE ! ! !
Vi gör ett Gemensamt Zine med röster från queera Sverige. Tema Queera Uttryck. I den första upplagan pratar vi om queera uttryck: vad betyder det för dig? Är det din carabiner, hur du för dig i världen, speciella platser, personer eller något helt annat?
Här är info om det vi vill ha:
- Format: För foton och skannat material ska upplösning vara 300 DPI. Det kommer ske ett urval av bidragen till zinet, vilket potentiellt innebär att inte allt publiceras. (Tex om det passar "ett annat tema" bättre eller liknande)
- Deadline: 25 september
- Språk: svenska och engelska*
- Alla som bidrar får ett fysiskt zine. Tidningen kommer också att läggas upp digitalt, stay tuned, och skicka in!
*om du vill skicka in på ett annat språk är det välkommet men vi kan kontakta dig för översättning.

On Tuesday, we’re joining Cyklopen’s Open Studio for a zine workshop! The gathering is not queer separatist, but since we’re holding it at Cyklopen, it still fits our values!
No prior experience required AT ALL! You don’t need to know how to fold, draw, write or anything queer at all. All the materials you need will be there!
So, what even is a zine? In short: it’s a magazine or publication that you make yourself with whatever you have at hand. A bit longer: Zines (or fanzines) have a long history and, as we know them today, started out in punk culture. Zines are usually printed in small quantities (like the library photocopier, or at school whatever) and given away or sold for a symbolic price. In Stockholm, there’s Sthlm Zine Fest, the International Comics Festival, Lava and Reclaim Pride, where lots of zines are sold and shared (and of course, there are plenty more communities and places where zines are made and circulated).
Cyklopen is a ten-minute walk from Högdalen, along the metro tracks and past the skate park. Get in touch if you’d like some company or want someone to meet you along the way. 🕺
JOIN OUR FIRST COMMUNITY ZINE ! ! !
We’re making a Community Zine with voices from queer Sweden. The theme is Queer Expressions. In this first edition, we’re talking about queer expressions: what does it mean to you? Is it your carabiner, the way you move through the world, specific places, people, or something completely different?
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Format: Photos and scanned material should have a resolution of 300 DPI. There will be a selection process, which means that not everything submitted will necessarily be published. (For example, if it fits another theme better)
- Deadline: September 25
- Languages: Swedish and English*

Everyone who contributes will receive a physical zine. The zine will also be published digitally, stay tuned, and send us your work!
*If you’d like to submit something in another language, that’s very welcome too, but we may contact you about translation.
The finished zine will be sent to the National Library of Sweden (Kungliga Biblioteket) and to Lava Zinecentral for historical preservation.
